Below are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. Please contact your local library if you need more information or have a question that is not addressed on this page.

How do I contact the library?

To contact the library, please select your local library’s web page and select Contact Us from the side menu. You may also view library hours, employment information, and any public or general announcements specific to the library from the side menu.

Is the library open for service?

All AZRLS libraries are fully open to the public and currently offering the following:

CURBSIDE SERVICE: Contact-free curbside materials pick-up by scheduled appointment.

You can place holds with the PINES app or though the PINES website. If you use the website, you will have to log into your PINES account in order to place holds. Once your books are available, we will call you and schedule a pick-up time for you to get your books. Please let us know if you have any other questions, need more information, or want some help with the PINES app or with your PINES account. Hours may vary by library. Visit your local library’s page to view updated hours of operation.

How do I place a hold for curbside pick-up?

You can place holds through the PINES app (both Apple and Android versions) or through the PINES website. If you use the library website, you will need to log into your PINES account before you are able to place a hold. (Click on the “My Account” button in the upper right side of the screen.) Contact your local library during business hours with any questions or if you need assistance placing a hold.

How do I apply for a digital card?

You can go online to the Georgia Public Library Service and click on the Apply For A PINES Library Card button. This will take you to the registration screen. From the drop down menu under Home Library, you will select Azalea Regional Library System and your home library. After filling out and submitting the form, a temporary digital card number will be issued to you. This will allow you to access all of AZRLS’ online resources and services. You will then have 30 days to visit your home library with proper identification to convert your temporary digital card to a free physical PINES library card. Are you accepting donations?

Yes, we are accepting books in good condition. Please contact your local library and speak with a staff member before bringing donations to the library.

How do I return borrowed library material/s?

Book deposits are open at all member library locations. You may also return PINES library books to any participating PINES library and the material/s will be routed to the home library.

How do I renew my library material/s?

You can renew your books from home or at the library at any time through the PINES online catalog. Most items can be renewed twice, but some items have stricter limitations. Contact your local member library for information regarding check out periods and specific information regarding borrowing and renewing items, or if you need assistance renewing materials.

How do I access my PINES library account?

You can access information about your library account, including what items you currently have checked out, what titles you have on hold, and any fines you owe to the library, by logging into your library account. You will need the barcode number on your PINES library card and PIN. Contact your local library during business hours if you need assistance.
