The Azalea Regional Library System strives to provide the best possible service to the citizens of Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Putnam, Morgan, and Walton Counties. As a public regional library system, it is our responsibility to provide a wide range of materials for our users to select from according to their needs without personal or professional bias. It is against the policy of the Azalea Regional Library Board of Trustees and Georgia Confidentiality Law (O. C. G. A. 24.9.46) to divulge information contained within any member libraries’ circulation or registration records.

We expect that all library users, including children, will conduct themselves appropriately and in a manner that respects the rights of other library users and library staff. Unsafe or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and any patron found to be violating the Rules For Library Users Policy will be asked to leave the premises. If a child or children are left unsupervised or alone at the library, we consider that a violation of our Unattended Minors Policy. Should any of the above policy violations occur, the library staff may ask a person behaving unacceptably to leave the library and may contact the proper authorities if a child or children are left unattended.

The Regional Director is further authorized to suspend library services and privileges to any individual violating any library policy for at least one year. During suspension, a patron is not allowed to visit any member library or contact any staff member of the Azalea Regional Library System, except for the Regional Director or Administrative Services Librarian. A suspended patron may appeal this decision to the Regional Board of Trustees at any regularly scheduled meeting.
