In Joseph Kuefler's latest Digger picture book, construction trucks, led by Digger, befriend a caterpillar on their worksite. When the caterpillar cocoons on Digger's bucket, everything pauses. In the stillness, Digger discovers a new world. As the butterfly emerges, a transformative change touches Digger and his crew. Ideal for fans of Sherri Duskey Rinker’s Construction Site series, the story also provides a simple guide to metamorphosis for young readers.
