Folklore PhD student Kaley Arens discovers fairy tales are real when she visits her friend Jobi's home on the island of Bellis. This isn't just an island; it's another world with its own royalty and rules. Kaley's arrival isn't accidental. She shares a mysterious connection with Jobi and Bellis, possessing abilities that could shape its fate. Tasked with finding a lost prince, Kaley, accompanied by the enigmatic Tanek and her bodyguard Sojee, journeys through Bellis, a land of beauty and terror. Here, the familiar and uncanny intertwine, blurring the lines between hero and villain. Kaley can alter the fairy tales she knows, but her own story is unfolding unpredictably, leading her toward an unforeseen destiny.

Celebrating Vidalia Onions

This month, we're shining a spotlight on the Vidalia onion, a true Georgia treasure! These sweet, mild onions are a culinary delight and a testament to the unique agricultural landscape of our state.

Did You Know?

  • Vidalia onions are grown in a specific 20-county region in Georgia, thanks to the unique soil composition that gives them their signature sweetness.
  • They were accidentally discovered in the 1930s when a farmer named Moses Coleman found that his onions were sweet instead of pungent.
  • Vidalia onions are Georgia's official state vegetable!

Patrons are now able to pick up books and other library materials after hours and enjoy the convenience of quickly retrieving holds while on the go. The lockers also provide contactless, 24/7 access for patrons who prefer not to enter the building or who need outside accessibility.

AZRLS lockers are conveniently located near the library’s main entrance and patrons will either scan their library card (physical card or from the PINES app) or manually enter their library card number on the touch screen. An assigned locker door will open, where items may be retrieved. Patrons should securely close the door after picking up all items. AZRLS currently has lockers located at the following member library locations.
