March is I LOVE to READ month! Discover the literary treasures hand-picked by our dedicated library staff! Stop by the library to explore their favorite books – who knows, your next favorite might be waiting for you!  If you spot your beloved read, let us know! We're adding patron favorites to our display, and you can even share why you recommend it in a couple of sentences! Put your favorites on display all month-long through this drop-in program suitable for all ages!
Storytimes every Friday at 10am and 4pm.
  • At 10am every Friday we have a scheduled story time for children from babies to pre-school age!
  • At 4pm enjoy a great after school story time.
Drop in on Mondays for Lego family fun for all! Come and create a cool LEGO design! All LEGOS are in the children's library.
Saturday Board Game
Saturday, March 16⋅11:00am – 12:00pm

We have a wide variety of board games family and friends can come to play! This event is for all ages  starting at 11am. We also have puzzles, checkers, LEGOS and more for those who wish to play independently or who are too young for the board games.
Get ready to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a pot of gold and rainbow craft on Monday, March 18th! Let your creativity shine as you design your very own rainbow and pot of gold!  This drop-in craft session is perfect for school-age children, so bring the whole family and join in on the fun!
Mr. Rogers left a legacy of helping children and their families believe 'It's a Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood.' He dedicated his life and career to helping children feel included, valued, and respected. This year, for Mr. Rogers' birthday, we're joining The Hopeful Neighborhood Project to help spread love and kindness in our wonderful Sparta neighborhood! On March 20th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, come color pages, do puzzles, read a book, and help us design a sidewalk chalk display! These activities are open to all ages.
