Retired librarian Bob Comet leads a quiet life in Oregon, content in his mint-colored house surrounded by books. A chance encounter leads him to volunteer at a nearby senior center, where his past and character unfold amidst a newfound community. From a troubled childhood to lost love and the solace of literature, "The Librarianist" reveals the extraordinary within the seemingly ordinary. With humor and compassion, deWitt crafts a touching homage to a life shaped by literature and the hidden depths beneath tranquility.
