The Devil in the White City tells the true story of two men, Daniel H. Burnham, the architect of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, and H. H. Holmes, a serial killer who preyed on visitors to the fair. Burnham races to complete the fair amidst scandals and setbacks, while Holmes uses the fair's crowds to lure his victims.
In 1896, three best friends--Tirzah, Sophia and Polly--who are leading very different lives after boarding school share their dreams, hopes, frustrations and romances through a series of letters as they search for happiness and love near the dawn of the Edwardian era.

Roberta rescues tiny creatures. You know, the ones stranded in the middle of the sidewalk. A lot of the time, that earns her funny looks from kids in school. But when a swarm of baby spiders finds its way into the classroom, Roberta will save the day with her knowledge and creativity, showing everybody that tiny creatures aren't so scary after all. They just need friends who rescue and understand them!
